USTOA board visits Australia
The United States Tour Operators Association (USTOA), representing some of America’s most important tour operators for long haul travel, held their Board Meeting on the Gold Coast at the end of March.
Daryl Hudson, Tourism Australia’s Regional General Manager for the Americas welcomed the group and kicked the meeting off with a discussion about the 2020 Tourism Industry Potential. The delegation of 28 USTOA board members – comprised of owners, operators and decision makers from across the US – experienced New South Wales, Queensland, Northern Territory and South Australia and flew on Qantas and V Australia.
They also attended the Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE) in Sydney to get an understanding of the event and talk with sellers.
