More than 40 Australian sellers met with 85 Indian travel agents at the 2011 India Travel Mission (ITM) in Hyderabad recently. Wrapping up on 28 August, the three-day event included one-on-one meetings, as well as round table networking sessions with the various state and territory organisations. The agents hailed from 12 cities across India, with more than half coming from Mumbai and Delhi. Some of Australia\'s leading tour operators, including Cox & Kings, Kesari, MakeMyTrip, Mercury Travels, SOTC Kuoni, Thomas Cook and Yatra, also attended. This year saw a number of new participants, including major airlines Air Asia X and Singapore Airlines and seller companies such as Mercure Sydney, Mirvac Hotels & resorts and The Menzies Sydney. Participants provided positive feedback on this latest ITM, now in its ninth year of promoting Australian holiday experiences to the Indian travel trade.
