Outdoor Recreation Grants Advisory Committee will be held in Little Rock and in Jacksonville, Arkansas Oct. 19-21

The Outdoor Recreation Grants Advisory Committee will be held in Little Rock and in Jacksonville, Arkansas Oct. 19-21. The committee will meet at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19 in the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism Conference Room. It is located in the Multi Agency Complex, #1 Capitol Mall, in Little Rock. This meeting will allow the Outdoor Recreation Grants Program staff to assist the committee with the review of the Fiscal Year 2012 FUN Park and 50/50 Matching Grant Applications for city and county park development.

The committee will then meet at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20 in meeting rooms A and B of the Jacksonville Community Center, #5 Municipal Drive for invited 50/50 Matching Grant Applicants. It will also convene on Oct. 21at 9 a.m. for invited FUN Park Grant Applicants. The committee has scheduled time for each applicant to describe their grant request and answer questions.
