Let the Festival of the Century Begin!

Welcome to open the jubilee season of 100 years old Savonlinna Opera Festival. The get together -party takes place wednesday July the 4th at 14:00 at Taidehalli, Olavinkatu 40. Welcome to enjoy some small snacks and meet the management and the artists of the Savonlinna Opera Festival.

In the event there is also an opening of the photo exhibition Sata vuotta – sata tähteä (Hundred years – hundred stars) whitch presents artists who have performed in the Savonlinna Opera Festival in the 21th century. The curator of the exhibition is Timo Seppäläinen who has been the photographer of the Savonlinna Opera Festival for several years.

The Press Office is at Your service during the whole festival mon –sat 9–16 at Olavinkatu 27, 2nd floor. You can get your tickets, librettos, festival book, concert brograms and filming permits from the press office.
