The 210-acre botanical garden is owned and managed by the University of Arkansas. Her employment background also includes experience in sales and marketing for Magnolia Lodging of Dallas, executive director for the Tullahoma (Tenn.) Area Chamber of Commerce, director of sales and marketing for the Hot Springs Convention and Visitors Bureau, and serving as group travel manager for the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism.
