Holidays in Brunei. Ethnic composition of Brunei is heterogeneous: the Malays - more than a half (67%) of the population, 8% - are people of similar ethnic groups - the Iban, the Kedayan and others, 11% of Chinese, Europeans and Indians. Almost all life of Brunei’s citizens is associated with Islam, many actions are prohibited or discouraged. But the Constitution still considers the right to full freedom of religion. In Brunei one can freely wear European or national cloths, but women are not encouraged to wear provoke dresses. The Bruneians are tolerant to foreigners in general. The use of pork and alcohol is strictly forbidden in Brunei, but tourists are allowed to drink in hotels and some restaurants.
