In the period of 1875-1917 in this building there situated the hotel ”Pale-Royal”, which was the favorite place of artists, writers, actors. Fedor Shalyapin and Vladimir Mayakovskiy were the constant clients of ”Pale-Royal”. In the period of USSR this building was occupied by municipal apartments. In the last years the part of them transformed into the hotel again.
