Lavash - ancient Armenian national bread (pita type) - a long, elliptical flat bread, baked in a thin strip up to 50 cm widths and length up to meters. They bake lavash on walls of tonir - a special furnace or in modern baking ovens, using a special technology. Lavash almost has no crumb. In Armenian villages still retained a custom, when women-neighbors together bake bread for all. If you come to Armenia for vacations, you should necessary try this national bread. No meal goes without it. Lavash is served in all restaurants and cafes.
