Saghmosavank Monastery or Monastery of Psalms is located to the north of Mughni, in the region of Ashtarak. It was built in XII-XIII centuries by Vachutyan family. The monastery consists of four buildings: the main church of the Holy Sion, a small chapel of the Holy Virgin, vestibule and the library. All buildings were restored after the earthquake of 1988, and now are open to parishioners.
