The Church of the Holy Virgin with the remarkable bas-relief above the entrance and the chapel have preserved in the Oganavank monastery complex(V century)

The Ohanavank monastery complex is located in the same name village with, in Aragatsotn Province. According to legend, this monastery was founded in V th century and subsequently was rebuilt for several times. Now you can see the main church of the Holy Virgin (1212-1221), built by Vache Vachutyan, and the chapel, erected by his son Kurd Vachutyan. The remarkable bas-relief is located above the entrance to the main church. It depicts Christ with "reasonable and foolish virgins".
