Holidays in Algeria. The capital of Algiers is located on the hills of the eponymous bay at the Mediterranean coast.
When selecting a tour to Algeria, one should know that the city was founded in the X th century on the ruins of Icosuim - the Roman settlement. The ancient part of town is situated on a steep hill, on the top of which (140 meters above sea level) there is the citadel - Kasbah fortress (of Turkish rule time). The modern part of town stretches along the coast, there are thousands of kilometers of excellent beaches, and a lot of hotels with high level of service. Rest here is very comfortable. Main attractions: the entire old city is a museum of an ancient history. Among ancient, built in oriental style buildings and mosques there is the Grand Mosque (1096) with a minaret (1323), and also the mosque of Jami 'al-Jadid and the mosque-tomb Siddi Abdarrahman (XVII century).
