Rest in A lgeria. Taghit , trade, industrial and administrative center, is located in surroundings of sand dunes in the province of Ouarghla in the north-east of the Algerian Sahara, where ancient caravan routes had crossed. The town was built around the oasis, fed by artesian wells. Along tangled streets, reminiscenting a maze, there are houses made of clay, stone and special mud bricks. The main attractions - the minaret, the mosque of striking architectural splendor and the tomb of Beni Djellab rulers - attract local pilgrims and tourists here. If desired, one can also visit date palm groves.
